BRIEF
You are to design a calendar based on the theme of your choosing. The calendar must contain all 12 months of the year set onto a different page each, as well as a cover and back cover.
 
This is a calendar which consist of two parts. One side is a calendar which shows the mounth and the dates. The other side of the calendar is a greeting card. The mounth and the dates can be riped of and then you have a card. There is created a greeating card for each mounth which represents something special for that mounth. The graphical elements that are created for this calendars are different mandalas. Mandalas are used as spiritual symbols in Hinduism and Buddhism and represents the universe. The word itself means circle and decor.

This is a calendar that will be used in Norway, so the design of the mounths are based on norwegian seasons and traditions.
 
January - New Years ( fire works ) - New Years card
February - Valentine´s Day ( heart ) - Valentine´s Day card
March - The beginning of spring ( flower ) - Happy spring card
April - Easter ( easter egg ) - Happy Easter card
May - Norway´s National Day ( the norwegian flag ) - Happy 17th of May card
June - Graduation ( graduation hat ) - Happy graduation card
July - Summer ( sun ) - Have a nice summer greeting card
August - The school year is starting ( pencil ) - Good luck card
September - Fall ( leaf ) - Birthday card
October - Halloween ( pumpkin ) - Happy Halloween card
November - Winter is comming ( snowflake ) - Father´s Day card
December - Christmas ( christmas tree ) - Christmas card
