Caffé Indie was born out of research. The project was to create a concept, research that concept, and design accordingly. I spent time researching coffee companies and creating boards of surrounding competition. I then looked into the kind of demographic and scene I was aiming for. After this I decided to use handmade elements to create a very strong, and interesting brand identity. Along with the logo a brand guide was created in the event of the brand expanding to other mediums. This guide expressed the do’s and the don’ts of the brand. This project is still referenced by instructors showing successful examples of the project.
