The Central Wisconsin Resiliency Project [CWRP] is a community outreach program intended to teach the community to be resilient through education, recycling and conservation.
As part of a collaborative effort [with Issac Strassburg and AmandaBuffington], my design responsibilities were the identity and an advertising campaign. CWRP’s mission is to mobilize and empower the community, much like the Works Progress Administration projects ofthe 1930s. This concept is carried through for both the identity and the campaign.
The logo depicts family, community, and nature. Its’ badge-like layout is homage to the various government agencies that flourished in the 1930s; each had their own badge,s hield, or emblem. The various posters and other promotional materials I designed are themed upon promotional materials from the same time period in both color and style.
