June 28th 2012, Sugar Wheel has participated among 125 brilliant artists from around the world at the Largest designer toy exhibition in the Middle East, 'Project: MEGA | The Dubai Mall' in Dubai, UAE. The event continued to july 8th and followed by a one night auction on the 12th of july hosted by Sheikha Wafa bint Hasher Al Maktoum.
This is CROWDY the First toy customization by Sugar Wheel.
CROWDY was my FIRST toy customization. I colored him using acrylic, gouache, and markers. Applying Sugar Wheel characters crowd style on a toy for the first time wasn't easy at all, but it turned out to be a successful customization. I'm very happy and proud that among other 100 amazing toys that were up for the auction, CROWDY was one of the very few that were sold right away! :D
