    The advertising campaign for the Cambridge Open Studios consisted of print advertisements in Artscope and
    Art New England magazines, posters placed in venue and sponsor windows, and posters which were hung in
    the Boston Subway Red line. The photography for the piece is meant to suggest open-ness and works in progress. The photos had to represent the many types of media available at the open studio events which included dance, puppetry and more traditional painting, drawing and sculpture. The use of dimensional typography was at once mysterious and visually striking.
