CORD 8100 Lev Sedan

The latest in a series of parallel-future flying cars; this one drawing inspiration and design cues from the 1936 Cord 810 Sedan.  The famous horizontal grill pattern is drawn through the vehicle, portrayed as cooling fins for an underlying and largely unseen propulsion system.  While the rear pylons and side-wings are striking, the mass and density of the front fins and tubing are intended as visual cues that this vehicle is driven by the front; as was the Cord it draws inspiration from.
First sketch with general layout.  The doors in this sketch were drawn to rotate into the body when opening, which I had orginally intended for a different coupe design.  The rendering above did not incude this feature.
