Since Sports and related merchandise was
highlighted in the ‘Fresh’ windows, the brand CONVERSE was picked up to
highlight the wide range of the popular sneakers and the FALL’11 collection. The
dimensional letters as well as the television sets can highlight the message
and at the same time merchandise can be displayed in a tiered display. The
screens on the TV sets are again used to communicate the imagery and the Tee’s
are simply hung on the back wall, which again can be easily managed by any
store staff. The flexibility for the retail operations is very important so
that the merchandise can be changed in windows frequently and at the same time the
display essence is maintained too.
In retail or say Visual
Merchandising, no two windows spaces are same. For every store, in every city,
the window display is customized, but the theme has to be implemented well. Due
to resourcing constraints the designs are changed without changing the
