The Coca-Cola Refresh Recycling Bin was created with the aim to promote recycling to the public. The eco-friendly bin is an ideal example to demonstrate the design possibilities of sustainable materials like recycled plastics, entirely made from post-consumer recycled PET bottles and placed in high traffic areas encouraging people to support recycling.

RPET pieces shaped into flat sheets can be assembled on site and reduce the already improved carbon footprint even more. It is perfectly suited for events and concerts, that don’t always have a dense ‘infrastructure’ of recycle bins. The Recycling Bin helps Coca-Cola to show its commitment to environmental responsibility, keeping the environment clean from cans and bottles.

Due to the thoughtful use of materials and its holistic integration into a sustainable concept, the Coke Refresh Recycling Bin got distinguished with more than 5 international and regional design awards.
