The Cloud series modular furniture is made up of 3 separate individual furniture that could function on its own, yet when placed and arranged together as a set, paints a poetic and soothing visual for the environment.
The concept of abstracting clouds into a geometrical form, highlights the ultra modernity of the furniture, that also extends the possibilities of life. Built on the common fantasy of people wishing to be among the clouds in the sky, resting on its ethereal whiteness and purity, this set of furniture turns a natural element, into physical entity, that is not merely poetic, but serves to also provide an environment for momentary rest and escapades from the routine of life by allowing users to be among the clouds at last.
As the high overhead space provides insufficient shelter during wet weather, it results in various existing sitting space made of wood and concrete in the Open Plaza inconvenient for people to utilize, the Cloud series outdoor furniture are designed pragmatically to be build in a substitute fiberglass. The material allows easy cleaning and drying by cleaners or even the users themselves should a wet weather just passed, by utilizing the following advanced materials as an alternative to fiberglass, the weights of the furniture are reduced by 20% and the VOC's emitted during the fiberglass production process can be eliminated, making the production process and the design environmentally friendly.
