Conventionally, the five senses of sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch are experienced independently from one another. Synesthesia, "syn" meaning together and "esthesia" meaning sensation, is a neurological condition in which the stimulation of one sense triggers an immediate and vivid sensation in another. The combination of music and dance is a physical representation of this; an audible vibration traveling through the air, which enters the body auditorily, eliciting movement. This collaboration between the Visual MVMT creative team and choreographer Kelli Cubillos fuses dynamic cinematography, vibrant sound design, and emotion together to bring  synesthesia into a physical reality.
