The BurnPlaylouder Festival is an annual electronic music event that happens in Porto Alegre (Brazil) since 2006 by Burn Energy Drink company. The festival takes three days at different nightclubs during the month of October to offer a big party with at least one international attraction each.
In 2009, when I worked at DCS agency we were asked to develop the site for the festival and also requested to make suggestions for interactivity.
Then, our ideia was to make a fake digital reality show, where people could watch a life of a boy who is locked in his room waiting for the mouth of the festival. You could see him sleeping, talking with his mother and also chating with friends on the computer, always consuming cans of Burn Energy Drink.
Besides the reality show, each person who accesses the website was automatically thrown in to a chat with another person who was also accessing at the same moment. In that way the fans of the festival could go to the parties already knowing each other virtually.
The layout below shows how this project would appear. Unfortunately it didn`t get done by problems about the company policies. Anyway is a project that i like so i post it here.
