We had the vague notion of the broken light spectrum being used as a Universal language. Literally speaking, as though the Universe was trying to communicate to us humans through the light spectrum, only we have failed to recognize the patterns.  This evolved into a small series of paintings that represented some "alien language" - a pictograph system using rainbows and (for lack of a better term) anti-matter rainbows to communicate ideas. This series of small (and one large) acrylic paintings on various surfaces (wood, raw linen, tie-dyed canvas, paper) was created as part of our 2013 exhibition at Outré Gallery in Australia.
