Salt is daily necessity in one’s life. It is valuable product not only because it adds to the taste but because it is the symbol of one’s hard work and efforts. Though salt is easily available in market and easily produced by evaporating sea water, earning salt is of great deal. When a person consumes the food offered by host, he becomes indebted to his kindness and hence is said that the person should become forever loyal to the salt he has consumed. This is so because he has consumed the salt earned by someone else i.e he has consumed the salt of someone else efforts.
Therefore he should show respect to that effort by being loyal and trustworthy towards him.
