This is done for Design Impact, it is branding of a cooking briquette for the rural India. In certain parts of India people are using what they can to start cooking fires, sometimes using trash and toxic waste. The project was to introduce a healthy affordable alternative. I explored various options before turning to a traditional hand painted advertisement aesthetic.
The text in the branding is Indian. it is a straight forward explanation of the benefits of the product, such as, the health benefits to the lungs of loved ones, benefits to the environment, it is easy to use, and isn't so expensive.
