Ty Milford sought branding, creative and strategy solutions to create effective communication pieces which would elevate the presence of his work and gain the attention of the right individuals in creative depts. at various agencies and organizations.
 
The mailers were developed in such a way that they would be incredibly eye-catching and allow for a much greater display of images to showcase Ty's range for commercial to lifestyle to fashion photography (including broad industries and target demographic audiences)—while still acting a concise & direct point of visual communication to creatives, that would additionally meet bulk USPS mail standards. 
 
 


Ty Milford was assisted in developing and printing a special 36 pg. full-color newsprint leave-behind portfolio book for use at recognized photo industry trade show, LE BOOK, Connections as well as to have delivered to select creative industry key decision-making individuals leading campaign production. 

Since LE BOOK Connections events bring together photo reps, agents, producers, and creative & art directors to review photographers/DP's portfolios—but EXCLUDE the actual photographers/DPs themselves from attending the event(s), Ty was custom-tailored a plan which would not just allow key attendees at event to become even more acquainted with his work, but also to serve as a silent personal introduction in lieu of being able to attend event...

Hand-signed stationery notes from Ty Milford were inserted into opening spread of each leave-behind book. The cards each gave a personal introduction from Ty, as well as an offer to meet with the recipient of the book for a complimentary coffee meeting & portfolio viewing session. This simple gesture helped start a key business conversation—which would have otherwise not been as feasible without Ty physically in attendance at the exclusive industry event(s).


 
RESULTS:

Both traditional seasonal direct-mailer campaigns as well as unique special leave-behind books ended up generating an incredible amount of positive feedback and buzz via tradeshow & event attendees and phone calls, emails from recipients of materials from target lists. A photoshoot campaign with a well-known alcoholic beverage company was booked directly after receiving printed materials, as well as a brand shoot with ZipCar—after receiving a special printed book from LE BOOK.
