The task assigned to us was to do a rebranding for Artaholic - an independent, non-profit online art magazine. This was my take on it.
The logo is in a form of a triangle not only because it is the general shape of the letter of the brand name, but it also represents the boldness and strength of the youths we have today. The white triangle in the logo is in the form of a page flip, which represents Artaholic's e-magazine as always being updated and in trend.
The wordmark adopts a sharp, sophisticated typeface to illustrate Artaholic's contemporary feel to the world. The straight and sharp wordmark also reflects Artaholic's professionalism, which it caters not only to the youths
but to the formal and corporate audiences as well.
The colours Cyan and Magenta reflects a very vibrant and fun vibe that will definitely attract readers and non
readers alike. The White colour of the flip helps balance the vibrant and fun with order, stability and cleanliness
to help bring trust to the readers.
