  • Axiom Design Partners were commissioned to re-brand Hames Sharley, a +35 year old, internationally renowned multidisciplinary practice who specialises in Architecture, Interiors, Urban Design, Planning and Landscape Architecture.

    A comprehensive brand audit was undertaken and a brand strategy developed. The brand audit identified that there was a definite style that nearly all “architectural” practices adhered to - so common in fact that it is almost a cliché. If Hames Sharley wanted to position themselves as an industry-leading, innovative practice, they would have to “break” this mold and use a colour other than black.

    The core strategy behind the re-brand was to reflect a more contemporary image and inject personality into the brand, with care to ensure the new brand would be appealing on an inter-generational level. Sustainability was also a driving principle of the new corporate plan.

    Axiom artfully blended a typical minimalist design approach with an injection of a vibrant colour palette printed on a variety of paper stocks and utilising specialised print finishes to add a tactile experience.
