The brief for this project was to create a whole new company. At the time I was fascinated by Sushi and everything about it, the culture, the graphics and, of, course the food. So my base idea was to create a sushi company for the target market of mid 30 professionals who have no time for the usual bright pink ambience. I based the concept on the simple idea that you would be taking a sushi box away with you, hence the name Box.
Sushi companies are typically modern and different but they are also modern, technically complex in appearance by contrast I wanted my logo to be modern but minimalist in form and structure.
I really enjoyed designing the menu. It's simple really; The menu is shaped like the 'web' of a box. On each side section is a different type of sushi (Maki, Iso, etc.) and in the middle the prices (info graphic colour coded).
I also designed a loyalty card and a tally card for employees, and a take-out box and a take away bag. All share the minimalist brown package theme. Read Less
