Xouhoa and Tom approached me about creating a large edition of letterpress invitations for their destination wedding. The couple currently lives in Seoul and have traveled together extensively, and they wanted to celebrate their nomadic life at their nuptials. I was asked to design a basic wedding invitation and an insert that included the engagement party specifics and lodging information. The couple also gave their guests antique airplane pencil sharpeners as wedding favors, for which I created tags.
Printed on a Vandercook Press with polymer plates on French Paper. Two hundred invitations, two hundred covers, four hundred inserts, one hundred tags. Each "passport" was hand-scored and assembled with adhesive photo corners. Tags hand-cut and punched. Invitation corners rounded manually.
