This project takes its offset in the assumption that cars become more and more electronic, setting a new standard to the mechanic and his tools. The outcome concerns an innovative toolbox that enables the modern mechanic to perform the assignments of the future. The result is a design in two levels; the overall concept called electronic toolbox where the classical toolbox has been improved by applying a shockproof laptop and an extensive set of measuring tools. And second, a detailed product design of the unit containing the measuring tools.
This unit is called FSA 820 and is a mobile wireless diagnostic module that enables a special educated mechanic to perform a full system vehicle analysis.
