For this project, we were to redesign an illustrated book of our choosing. This book was encouraged to be poorly designed to begin with, so we could start with a clean slate. The subject matter was to be interesting to you, which would provide interesting possibilities. 

 

We were to design a minimum of 12 parts for the book: a cover, title page, table of contents, and 8 typical spreads including at least one chapter opening/divider spread, and 6-7 spreads with illustrations. The spreads were to have a variety and as a group address all the fundamental problems of the publication.
