Identity & System: The goal of this project was to create a narrative with typography and illustration for a noir novel.

Conceptual logos were created for the intellectual property identity, a book publishing house, an independent film company and the production company. This was in addition to the cover art used for the soundtrack. The wordmark and iconography were used to tie together the intellectual property to be used in all mediums.

I was heavily influenced by the work of Saul Bass and Bill Gold in this project. Like explorers, artists should go far and wide across the culture to bring back something with teeth, soemthing that was hard to get in the bag. Something truthful in its beauty or ugliness.
