The book discusses works by Amos Oz, Orly Castel-Bloom, Sayed Kashua, Yoel Hoffmann, and Ronit Matalon. It examines and analyzes the way these authors represent place, to demonstrate that representation of even the most apolitical places in Israel is motivated by ideology.
