Have you ever visited the lake Constance on the borders of Germany, Austria and Swiss? I spent several months living there and the beatifull towns and islands inspirated me to paint 12 paintings for a calendar project. Every picture is inspirated by another town or island and includes typical buildings or most famous attractions. The people from these portraits are called by the name of the place they wear on the hat.
"Frau Bodensee" - The cover picture of the whole project. The hat has the shape of Lake Constance.
Frau Friedrichshafen - The town Friedrichshafen with the famous airship Zeppelin.
"Frau Mainau" - The Flower Island of Mainau is simply the most beautiful place at Lake Constance!
"Frau Unteruhldingen"- The little town Unteruhldingen with an open-air museum of Pfahlbauten - pile dwellings.
"Herr Langenargen"- the town where I lived and which I loved.
"Frau Salem" - a big monastery, castle and great monkey hill
"Herr Meersburg" - Meersbur is just an adorable little town with a coast-like flair.
"Frau Konstanz" with a famous statue Imperia
"Frau Lindau" - a small but beautiful island

"Herr Säntis" - a wonderfull mountain on the Swiss shore of the lake.
"Herr Ravensburg" - an old town with many towers and important german book publisher.
