For this project, I set out to design a boardroom chair and table combination that would allow more participants to fit in a smaller area without compromising comfort. Upon doing research, I discovered that most often in boardrooms, the legs and feet of chairs collided together more than the actual seats of chairs. I solved the problem by creating a chair with legs of a narrower width and an improved stance to increase stability. This allows for chairs to be positioned much closer to each other, allowing for a larger group at a smaller table. Both the chair and table are constructed from polished anodized aluminum and white polyvinyl chloride. The fabric of the chair is high quality Crypton stain resistant fabric.
