Blue Jellyfish by Singer Sen/蓝色水母 歌者森

This was a freelance music video project that I worked on last year with Director Steve Woo for Singer Sen.
I was credited with Visual Effects Supervisor/Artist & Editor for the project!

Blue Jellyfish is the 2nd single from SingerSen's debut album, The World In My Eyes. With lyrics and music by SingerSen, it has the attraction and strangeness of a Kate Bush-esque story of love and loss.
A beautiful but dangerous blue jellyfish stumbles upon a man in the sea and her first defensive instinct is to want to kill him with her deadly poison. But instead she is entranced by the charm of his smile, and she swims over and embraces him in love.
However, in due course, the sad stain of the human as hunter plays out as he eventually captures her and strikes to kill her.
In her death throes, she asks, "won't you be lonely when you lose me?".
And that is a lesson for humankind as we should learn to love and respect all living things on this earth. The happiness and beauty of this world can only exist in a complete world.
The video is directed by Steve Woo, whose past writing, production and directorial credits include the movies The Break-Up Artist, Maggie Q's The King of Fighters, Simon Yam's Cross and Fen Shou De Ren
