A simple but abstract idea. The brief was simple, to create an ident for a production company "Black Ice" and also to develop a logo too. I started with the motion graphics and after many attempts of trying to create realistic black ice I decided to try an abstract and minimal look.
While creating this abstract look I had to bear in mind an end design of the logo too which provided many design challenges.
The logo was altered to suit the motion graphics so it now sports a new faceted look. The typeface has also been changed from a chunky font to something more delicate that reflects the tone and pace of the ident.
