In my professional work, I design for medium- and large scale corporate businesses. It demands an eye for detail and leaves no room for mistakes. It’s very much a lesson in perfection. So when I do my own work – like my illustrations – i try to let go of perfection and work with the way the materials react and act. For me, imperfection is what makes it special – it’s what we remember. Right now I do a lot of birds and faces. Birds are beautiful – and they are free –  I like freedom.
