Developed as my Bachelor Thesis, Bios is a shortfilm which documents an ordinary day in the life of a factory as if it was a living being.
The factory wakes up early in the morning. All the departments start to work, interact and connect to then fall asleep in the evening. It is the life of a being with its skeleton, organs and cells following an obscure natural law which little has of natural.
Mankind translates itself into architectures and produces machines which then animate those architectures. Like a microscope on a body, the camera focuses on the production chain, interested on the art of crafting rather than on the products crafted.
