- InfoThe Bike Kitchen Patras is a community-based, non-profit bicycle workhouse. It is a DIY bicycle resource run by volunteers and based on the efforts of the local community.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide free guidance and technical support for the repair of a bicycle. Through a series of seminars, the notion of exchange and commutation of bicycle parts and accessories, Bike Kitchen promotes the role of the bicycle in the local community.
Needs
The purpose of the design was to combine the values of solidarity inside a local community, and the technical support provided from a bike workshop. We aimed to create a logotype, which through vintage aesthetics in both colour and typography, could serve as a unified symbol of a kitchen and a workshop.
