    Challenge:
    Produce a concept and promotionalmaterial for a Guinness World Record attempt thatwill serve to promote Merrell’s image in the UnitedKingdom. 

    Solution:
    “Big Green City” record attempt for the most people to simultaneously complete an assault course that aims to bring the countryside to cities across the UK. Each of the nine cities involved will be competing against one another to win the Guiness World Record. To aid the competitive spirit during the event there will be live-feeds that show the other assault courses taking place across the UK. On each site will be a Merrell tent, offering more information on the company and their products.
  • Mini mock-up of the assault course. Could be interesting to integrate this type of imagery into the event website.
  • Large billboards and posters will be placed around the cities. The visual suggestion of ripping away the cityscape to see the natural scene underneath promotes the idea of the great outdoors coming to the urban areas of the UK. This advert also hints at one of Merrell's key tenets: that their products perform in urban and rural environments.
