This is the identity project developed for a portuguese mountain gear brand marketed by Sport Zone. Besides the mountain gear, the brand has also been producing general mountain bikes as well, and more recently has been marked by producing high performance downhill bikes, establishing a strong image among the cycling competitors. So for this project i tryed to captured a more radical and adventure image that i felt to be reflective of brand concept, combining the montain and the cycles market that share almost the same audience. The inclination of the letters suggests the mountain and the downhill as well as motion and energy, and the use of an outlined shape reinforced the strenght of the logo, allowing it to stand out of the background. The fact that i've used simple and geometric shape characters was intended to reflect the boldness of brand.
