Character Design and Sculpture
When prompted to design a classic literary character, I naturally chose Beowulf from a list of many tempting choices. Shown below are examples of character sketches, color designs, and finally a 12" tall sculpture. I ultimately decided to design Beowulf in his older form later in the saga, when he is past his physical prime, yet deeply experienced in battle and deceptively strong. (Final sculpture made with super sculpy and yes, rabbit pelt.)
