The two main points of the brief from the Garden Centre were to create a play area which catered for all age ranges and to retain alot of play value whilst designing the area to fit in with the surrounding landscaped environment.
The play area is divided by a dried river bed with two bridge crossings. The toddler area is situated closest to the outdoor dining area for better supervision with the junior area at the opposite end.
The adventure play area features a large variety of physical and sensory play elements including multi-play units, trim trails, a musical instrument and a living willow sculpture to name just a few.
All of the equipment and activities combined with the landscaping and different textured surfaces create an area which keeps the children entertained whilst interacting with the natural environment around them.
