This project is about Japanese food box, called Bento. I designed a book which emphasized the spirit of the Bento.
The colors, forms and presentations of the Bento aimed to motivate the children to prefer healthy food. The quality of the Bento serve also as a socio - economic mark. Each box contain measured quantities of rice, meat or fish and vegetables and fruits. The design of the box and its appurtenances is a cultural matter. My book intend present this Japanese culture aspect and show recipes and full scale schemes helping Bento preparation.

Bento "בפרוייקט זה עיצבתי ספר בנושא קופסאות אוכל יפניות הנקראות "בנטו
הצבעוניות והיופי של הבנטו נועדו בין היתר לגרום לילדים לאכול בצורה בריאה ומבוקרת יותר, ואיכותו מצביעה על המעמד הסוציו-אקונומי אליו משתייך הילד
כל קופסא מכילה כמויות מדודות ומדויקות של אורז, בשר או דג, תוספת ירק וקינוח.
כמו כן הקופסא עצמה והאביזרים הנלווים לה תואמים אף הם לצבעוניות ולסגנון כולו.
הספר אמור לחשוף את הבנטו לתרבויות נוספות והוא מכיל בתוכו מרשמים לתבשילים ושרטוטים בגודל אמיתי המאפשרים הכנה בקלות יחסית של הבנטו
