A series of photographs taken during a trip to Beijing in 2008 at the time of the Olympic Games. Rather than focusing on the spectacle of the Olympic Games, my intention was to capture a more intimate and personal view of Beijing and its inhabitants, and through photographic means explore a city that is steeped in rich history but at the same time undergoing drastic change.
