This poster is a screen printed conceptual poster inspired by the movie “Beauty and the Beast.” The design features two silhouettes, Beauty and the Beast. It is done in two colors, black and red, to keep the design more simple but also to correlate with the association of the red rose in the story and the dark pain of the Beast. Over the red and black, a varnish layer with the impression of a rose is implied to portray the well known symbol from the story. This application adds depth to the design. The only text on the poster is a quote from Disney’s version of the story, “Who could ever learn to love a beast?”
