A quick mini project we were given at university to produce a poster for a typeface of our choice (I love Baskerville). The rules were that it had to be black and white only, had to include the alphabet in both upper and lowercase, punctuation and the numbers 0-9, as well as the distinguishing features of the typeface. Rather than laying out the alphabet in some kind of table I decided to create an image out of it since it's a text based poster which needs a focus point. The reason for the simplicity of the poster is because that's how I think of Baskerville - it's simple, classy and refined, and doesn't do crazy things like break free from the grid and wander off the page. It is what it is, and doesn't need fancy layouts to take the attention away.
