  • Bardonecchia - il sogno
    1905 - 1923

Proposal for an identity project of the exhibition dedicated to the work of engineers C. Ceresa and G. Capucio.

The exhibition will cover the work of engineers in the construction of villas in the town of Bardonecchia in the period between 1905 and 1923.

The brief includes the construction of the identity of the exhibition, from logo to stationery and indications museum, also create a layout for the presentation boards of the villas that have been studied and redesigned with 3D modeling programs by the students of Architecture at Politecnico di Torino.
  • Logo

For the construction of the logo we started with the theme of the exhibition, the DREAM and BARDONECCHIA, influenced by what has been the architectural and engineering project behind this country, that is the idea of creating something that was not there before.

We looked at the archetypes of these elements, blending them together to create a logo that represents the exhibition.
  • Typeface

In the choice of typeface we opted for a character that had similar characteristics to the mountains, such as the height and grandeur, the choice fell on the character UNIVERS, in its condensed weights.
  • Color

The reference to the color comes from the signal path of the C.A.I., present in the mountain paths, white and red. The red, however, has been made more light and delicate.
