Barcelona Modernista is a foldout map that uses the original illustration of the urban master plan of the city as its main feature.

On this illustration, which in 1860 was part of the competition for the "Widening of Barcelona" by Ildefons Cerdà, a selection of the 50 most important and representative modernista buildings and sites are indicated.

The layout of the city today is almost identical to the project from 150 years ago, with few but curious exceptions.
With this map visiting the city then becomes a journey through time.

You can use it as a guide to visit the selected buildings and, uniquely, it can also be used to discover the subtle differences that have emerged throughout the last 150 years.
