A team of around 40 of us traveled to Bali to work for 5 days at the orphanage. Our school has a strong relationship with the organisation, and sends groups of children with their parents every year to help out/ build/  serve the kids. This was my first visit. I began by drawing out the project on the Tuesday, and by Friday, we had painted just under 200m2 and I was able to add the finishing touches under the beam of a cars headlight.  For me, it was a challenge, as instead of painting with a brush and my ipod, I was painting using people. Showing them how to shade, outline and use a brush in my style.  The team did a fantastic job and the children that live there were touched and impacted by the new environment.
