A project collaboration with Danish designer Don Goerlitz for the Bakken Bears basketball team. I designed the brand, while Done focused on AD stuff and client presentations.
Bakken Bears featured a teddybear look for 10 years, but decided to switch gears and launch a new profile for the 2009 playoffs, under the moniker: No more teddy. Now 100% bears!
The logo is highly aggressive and thus perfectly in tune with the team's playing style and tenacity.
The decision to launch a new profile before the playoffs, and not in the offseason was deliberate and mainly down to two reasons:
- No more teddy. Now 100% bears used as a campaign for boosting attendance
- Maximum exposure during playoffs
