ROBRADY design was asked to collaborate with Bailey Brand Consulting for the upcoming 2010 Pack Expo in Chicago. The Bailey team needed a few prototypes on a very tight time line for the show. Since normally recycled paper packaging is a mass produced item requiring large paper pulp machines, we needed to create a way to mimic this production process on a small scale. We also needed to mimic the Soapstix inside the packaging.
Molds were cut out of acrylic on our CNC machine. The soapstix were injection molded out of a soft durometer elastomer tinted with color.
