This is multi purpose furniture inspired by Korean flat form furniture called Pyung Sang. This furniture is for someone who lives alone or lives in a small space so that the user does not need all the different pieces of furniture. The top is devided by 8 pieces. There are two backrests, a lamp, a coffee table and a shelf. The rest of three plain seats provide options. Basically, all the seats are reversible. For example, the user can flip over a coffee table when it is needed.
With different holes on the seats and different position of mortise joint, the user can identify what the object is. This is meant to follow the principle of affordance design.
