Blackout was a collaboration project that lasted nine weeks. In a team of three, we sifted though a 500+ page government report that recounted in detail the events that occurred on August 14th, 2003. After constructing a digestible timeline from the report, we devised a way of explaining how electricity works, how the North American grid is interconnected, while simultaneously explaining how this led to the continuos shut down of the generating facilities. Our goal was to shape all the information into a cohesive narrative that a reader would be able to comprehend without being an electrical engineer. If you'd like, you can download the Blackout HERE!
