Traditionally a bench is merely a place to sit and rest. With newer technology it is possible to make a bench much more than that. I believe a bench should act as a piece of art that is informative and thought provoking.
Design Process | Demonstrate your concept design development process digitally through a collage of images, bubble diagrams, sketches, and words.
Selection Criteria | Submissions will be judged by six leading designers from across Canada and internationally. Below are the criteria that will be used to evaluate the submissions in order of priority:
- Creative use of the graffiti design and purposeful use of colour and texture
- Development of an environment suitable for the graffiti bench design
- Design principles, originality and marketability of designs
