Triathlon
Covering big triathlon events has been one of the pillars of my work in the last years and also the part which has received the most recognition, such as the Silver Medal in the World Photographic Cup, the Golden Camera in the FEP European Professional Photographer of the year 2015 or the QEP European certificate of quality, this last two given by the Federation of European Photographers.
It is without a doubt one of the most spectacular and entertaining sports disciplines to photograph thanks to the variety of situations and landscapes where the competitions take place as well as the strength of the triathletes, especially in the elite category. Each competition is a huge challenge at a different location, which makes it fun and unpredictable. La cobertura de grandes eventos de triatlón es uno de los pilares de mi trabajo en los últimos años, y el que mayores reconocimientos ha conseguido, como la medalla de plata en la Copa del Mundo de Fotografía, la Cámara de Oro como Fotógrafo Europeo del año 2015 o el certificado de calidad europeo QEP, los dos últimos otorgados por la Federación de Fotógrafos Europeos.
Sin duda una disciplina deportiva muy espectacular y entretenida de fotografiar, por la variedad de situaciones y paisajes en los que se desarrollan las pruebas y por la potencia de los triatletas, especialmente en la categoría élite. Cada prueba es un gran reto en una ubicación diferente, lo que lo hace divertido e imprevisible. Aquí podéis ver una pequeña recopilación de algunas de las mejores imágenes obtenidas durante diferentes pruebes de las World Series, Copas del Mundo y de Europa…
