B&W Portraiture Retrospective
I have shot a lot of portraits over the course of my career. This gallery contains some of my favorites: portraits of actors, directors, musicians, sportsmen, creative directors and fashion designers. There is also a farmer, an ex Spitfire pilot and a cage fighter in amongst celebrities such as Daniel Day-Lewis, Lord Attenborough, Emilia Fox, David Beckham, Patrick Stewart and Bryan Ferry.
Some of the original photographs were shot on black & white film, some on color negative and others digitally. But for the purpose of this collection, all have been graded in black & white for consistency.
A wide variety of camera systems were used including Hasselblad 503, Rolleiflex 6008, Canon, Leica and Sinar 5x4 film cameras; Sinar 54MP, Canon EOS Mark II and 5D Mark II digital cameras. One was shot on an iPhone.
