Avian Typeface
Inspired by the 2008 Summer Olympics' Bird's Nest Stadium, Avian is a typeface characterized by its harsh angular edges which are juxtaposed with its curvilinear accents. Because this stadium was designed in Beijing, it was important for me to maintain its eastern nature and essence.
The characters were designed from the shapes and curves of the stadium's exterior architecture.
This typeface comes with three weights: Medium (Regular), Bold, and Light.
There are 48 characters which include letters, numbers, and some special characters.
