- All designs below are sketches that were done recently. Some are actual cars in production, sketched for the sake becoming familiar with the general design cues from certain auto makers. Some are variations on designs already conceptualized and, in some cases, in production. The others are simply conceptualized designs, done as an exercise in automotive design.
The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR was a special edition of Ford's iconic pony car, produced by Shelby Automotive, and to the date of its building, was the fastest and most powerful Mustang ever built.
The above concept came into being after the Aston Martin DBS (sketch above concept) was released in 2008, when I wondered what an Aston would look like with elements of a Ferrari and a Corvette added.
The stingray concept for the Corvette has to be one of the most beautiful concepts for the corvette seen in years. It is understandable why it takes its place in this gallery.
The above sketch is a random assortment of design ideas that were just placed on paper one afternoon when I had nothing else to do.
